Restoration and creation of new gardens for “Crestly,” a 55 acre estate with gardens originally attributed to Olmsted. Nievera Williams Design reworked the vehicular flow of the property by relocating ill-placed driveways. Large lawns were repaired and framed by historic evergreen trees. Boxwood shrubs were placed at the edge of a sloping lawn, gates were designed to infill now unused driveway openings and fountains, walls, steps, terraces and walkways were added to enhance the outdoor experience of the estate. Extensive shrub, ground cover and perennial floating plants and grasses add all-year interest to the property. Nievera Williams continues to consult with ongoing maintenance and restoration.
